St. Luke’s opens Drive-Thru Pedia Vaccination to boost children’s routine immunization

Posted on Jun 07, 2021

Children can now receive safe and timely vaccinations through St. Luke’s Drive-Thru Pedia Vaccination service.

St. Luke’s Medical Center (SLMC) is making vaccines more accessible to children by opening drive-thru vaccination sites in its hospitals in Bonifacio Global City and Quezon City. These sites are open to all SLMC patients from Monday to Saturday, 8:00 am to 3:00 p.m.

“As we have seen during the COVID-19 pandemic, more people have become hesitant to go outside and seek medical attention due to the risk of being infected with the virus. Providing venues wherein parents can conveniently and safely vaccinate their children is one way that SLMC shows its dedication to giving the best healthcare experience to its patients., said SLMC President and CEO, Dr. Arturo De La Peña.”

The pedia drive-thru vaccination service is one of St. Luke’s initiatives to help patients cope with the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

SLMC makes it simple for parents to schedule an appointment to vaccinate their children. First, they need to schedule a consultation with any of SLMC’s world-class pediatricians. Upon receiving the details of the required vaccinations, they can proceed with booking an appointment through SLMC’s Product Information Hub. After this, parents will receive a confirmation of the payment process and their children’s vaccination schedule through email and SMS.

“With SLMC’s drive-thru vaccination sites, parents can take a step in protecting their children from various diseases while having the peace of mind that they will not catch the COVID-19 virus due to the enforcement of stringent health protocols,” Dr. De La Peña concluded.
