St. Luke’s Medical Center opens Drive-Thru Vaccination for Grown Ups in Global City
St. Luke’s Drive-Thru Vaccination for Grown-Ups enables adult patients to get vaccinated at their convenience.
To provide patients with safety and convenience in their vaccinations, St. Luke’s Medical Center (SLMC) will open its Drive-Thru Vaccination for Grown Ups service on June 16, 2021 — available at St. Luke’s Urgent Care in SLMC-Global City. This initiative is an extension of the recent launch of St. Luke’s Pedia Drive-Thru Vaccination service for children.
The drive-thru vaccination is focused on providing necessary vaccines to adults, particularly Measles, Mumps, and Rubella (MMR), Flu, Varicella (chickenpox), Pneumococcal, and Human Papillomavirus (HPV) vaccines. COVID-19 vaccines are not available in this service.
Patients seeking to book a timeslot simply need to contact St. Luke’s Product Information Hub (PIH) for their drive-thru vaccination. St. Luke’s PIH will assist the patient throughout their booking, teleconsultation, and payment. On their date of vaccination, patients would simply need to go to the designated driveway in SLMC-Global City.
St. Luke’s puts great emphasis on the importance of the vaccines offered as many are still not vaccinated against common diseases. For example, Varicella and MMR vaccines are commonly associated with children, but non-vaccinated adults still need to receive the appropriate dosages to combat diseases such as measles and chickenpox.
