St. Luke’s Foundation holds fund-raising event for indigent patients

For the benefit of the indigent patients of St. Luke’s Medical Center (SLMC), a fund-raising event titled, Music is Life: 9-19-19 was recently held at the Henry Sy Auditorium of St. Luke’s Medical Center - Global City.

The Orchestra of Filipino Youth with Maestro Joshua Dos Santos along with guest performer Cris Villonco rendered a mix of classic and popular musical performances to the delight of the audience composed of donors, doctors and guests.

This Concert was the first musical fund raising event spearheaded by the St. Luke’s Resource Development Group and St. Luke's Foundation and was staged to commemorate the latter's 7th anniversary,. Concert sponsors include First Balfour, Security Bank, SM Foundation, Seaoil, FWD, Mercedes Benz CATS, Tan Yan Kee Foundation, and Unilab, It was part of the ongoing program of the Resource Development Group to raise funds for the various charitable and social welfare programs of the Foundation which include medical social service, medical scholarship and continuing medical education, medical outreach and medical research.
