Government of Guam partners with PHILMD

The Office of the Governor of Guam, through its Guam Medical Referral Assistance Services
Office (MRAO) recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Philippine
Medical and Dental Services (PHILMD) appointing the latter as the official medical referral office
for the people of Guam requiring medical assistance in the Philippines.

The MOU is intended to assist Guam patients in their medical appointments and requirements
within the National Capital Region of the Republic of the Philippines. PHILMD will provide concierge
services such as facilitation and scheduling of appointments for referred patients with the
appropriate physicians, medical facilities or hospitals.

This partnership will significantly provide ease to the people of Guam when they go to the Philippines for their medical needs.

*PHILMD is the official medical referral service provider of St. Luke’s Medical Center.
